Does anyone know which year these compositions were written
1. Varnam - Swami Naan undan adimai in Nattakurunji /Adi by Papanasam Sivan
2. Pancha ratna Thillana - Hindolam- KN Dhandayuthapani Pillai

It is difficult to pinpoint the exact year in which these songs were composed. Papanasham Shivan lived between 1890 and 1973, Dandayudapani Pillai lived from 1921 to 1974.
You may want to contact Dr.Rukmini Ramani (Shivan;s daughter) and Dr.Uma Anand (daughter-in-law of Dandayudapani Pillai) through face book and try to get more details on these songs.
