दन्तकान्तिनिर्धुताच्छकुन्दडम्बरे ।

शङ्करार्यरचितदिव्यचक्रमध्यगे ।

वर ऋष्यशृङ्ग नगर वासिनि - O Resident of the excellent town of Sringeri!
सुरत्न भूषणालि भासिनि - O One shining with a series of ornaments made of good gems!

दन्त कान्ति निर्धुताच्छ कुन्द डम्बरे - O One who has excelled the crystal and jasmine with the shine of your teeth!
शान्तचित्त सेव्यमान पादपङ्कजे - O One whose lotus-feet are worshipped by those with tranquil minds !

शङ्करार्य रचित दिव्यचक्र मध्यगे - O One dwelling at the centre of the sacred Chakra installed by Adi Shankaracharya!
किङ्करायित अमरेन्द्र मुख्यदेवते - O One who has the gods led by Indra as your attendants !

पाद नम्रलोक सर्व काङ्क्षितार्थदे - O One giving all desired ends to people falling at your feet!
देहि शारदे अम्ब - O Mother Sharada, give (me)
