The lecture will cover a brief history of evolution our music , the origin of the musical form Svarajathi, types of Svarajathis and demonstrate examples of composers like Melattur Venkatarama Sasthri , Mysore Sadasiva Rao, Walajapet Venkataramana Bhagavathar, Thanjavur Ponniah Pillai and Swathi thirulal.
