[anand_900315]

Dear Rasikas,

On the occasion of K. S. Kalidas Mama Memorial Day on 30 October 2026, his disciples have brought out a commemorative volume celebrating the life and legacy of this revered mridangam vidwan, guru and custodian of the Palani tradition. The volume brings together tributes and reflections on his music, teaching and writings, honouring a great tradition inherited from Mahavidwan Palani M. Subramania Pillai and carried forward through generations of musicians.

Dear Nick,

I have received the pictures of the tribute function and the concert. We are truly grateful to you for sharing them with us. They will remain a cherished memory for us, something we will treasure forever.

Thank you once again.

[Nick H]

It is my pleasure. It was an honour to attend the function, and hear of the wonderful experiences.

And the concert was a real treat from a young star.

It was nice to meet you there too.
