T.N.Krishnan and UnniKrishnan concert at hamsadhwani

Iam new to this rasikas.org , as i am not very well versed in technican details of our music , i have not tried reviewing much , but by God's grace i can enjoy our music also understand the ragas , as i have been attending concerts for over 9 years now.last sunday's concert (prof.T.N.Krishnan) and Yesterday's Unnikrishnan concert were very beautiful , this year i have been attending all the concerts at hamsadhwani nice to see alot of crowd turning up for all the concerts.I strongly believe that good music beyond all its techniques should moisten our eyes and touch our soul.
T.N.Krishnan sir's song list

Though we can hear different violinsts hearing Krishnan sir is just an eternal experince , i always feel the violin just cuddles in his hand like a child and music just flows. every piece in this concert was memorable. krishnan sir was accompanied by his daughter viji krishnan , mannarkoil.J.Balaji and sankar on the ghatam , the percussions supported the the violin really well.

UnniKrishnan 's concert yesterday at hamsadhwani was spectacular . though he had a slight throat problem , as he kept singing his voice came back to form , his entire concert was very soothing and took us to a different plane altogether.

Unnikrishnan 's concert was very beautiful , his swara elaborations in nattai and mayamalavagowla was very impressive.his elaboration of chandrajyothi at all ranges was commendable , the main item bilahari was elaborated very well , and followed by excellent tani by J.vaidyanathan , s. karthick and sethuraman, vardarajan's violin ,at every moment was at its best. overall very happy concert.

Was it sung in nilAmbari? I thought its always sung in dvijAvanthy.

IIRC, Dr SR school sings in SankarAbharaNam.
