Bangalore residents, here is some interesting news. Prasanna Ramaswamy's film documentary on Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Aaraar Aasaippadaar will be screened in the garden city on Saturday March 17th, at the Gayana Samaja Auditorium in K.R. Road, commencing 6 pm.
All are welcome.

Both Sanjay and Prasanna will be present for an open discussion after the film.

News has also just filtered in that Aaraar Aasaippadaar has been selected for screening at the Munich International Film Festival in June this year. Our congratulations to the director and the protagonist.

In response to a question from the audience at the screening of Aaraar Aasaippadaar in Bangalore last week, the director Prasanna Ramaswamy clarified that it could take at least one year before the film is made commercially available on DVD. This is primarily because the film is being entered at various national and international film festivals, who will not accept entries which are commercially marketed. Trust this takes care of Prashant's query.

Incidentally, the film was well received in Bangalore. Close to 350 people attended, and the question and answer session was lively, with both Sanjay and Prasanna equal to anything that was thrown at them. A most enjoyable evening.
