Cant agree more with you arasi. This is the cycle of life.arasi wrote:And pray that many a new hope for CM is born in the year 2007 as well...
While I mourn the loss of all these greats I feel satisfied and assured in the thought that their presence will continue to be manifested in the great work they have done as musicians, teachers, critics and organizers.
To quote the Rajesh Khanna (his onscreen persona, actually) in the film Anand " Babumoshai, Zindagi Badi Honi Chahiye, Lambi Nahi." Life should be BIG not long. And this departed souls did live a "Badi Zindagi", serving their passion till the very end and leaving us so enriched that even a lot of us who dont know them personally feel their loss. How many humans get that kind of a grace?
I thank God these souls visited the earth during our life times and human civilization has advanced enough to catalogue their work for future generations.
Peace to all

pazhaiyana kazhidalum pudhiyana pugudalum... kAla vagaiyinAnE (the old shall pass on and the new shall enter.. that is the natural law).
The hope is: the departed shall be born again with greater vigor and hence the loss is not real but only apparent.
