I have heard some people render Chittaswaram for Nadaloludai(Kalyana Vasantham) and some don't.
I was curious as to what is the history behind it, if the chittaswarams weren't originally part of the composition...who created it?
Also, can someone post the chittaswarams as well?
(it goes something like: S,, SGM GMD MDN...)
Thanks!

Dear Karnatiklover,
none of the chittaswarams were ever composed by Sri thyagabrahmam. they were composed later by vidwans who thought they would add some'pep' to the concert. some of the vidwans a re karaikudi sambasiva iyer ( sobillu saptaswara-jaganmohini) and tiruvalangadu sundaresa iyer( nenarunchinanu-malavi). infact i personally feel thyagaraja didn't put sangathis at all for he composed these songs extempore and that too when he was doing unchavrithhhi. so according to me he doesn't care whether we put 10 or 12 sangathis to 'dharini telusukonti' or 'na jeevadhara'!!!
it is only for the sake of concert platforms that these songs have been morphed.
but anyway sorry i don't know the chittaswaram to nadaloludai. on the brighter side, why sing it when the song itself is so grand???
