AWESOME concert, though limited to two hours. The rain forced the sparse audience to crowd on the sidelines of the covered stage... would have been a wonderful cozy setting if the mikes were switched off!

Gopalank:

The nAttai ata tAla varnam "Sarasijanabha", like its more popular sister in KhAmboji, also is composed by Shri. Vadivelu Nattuvanar (of Tanjore nAlvar (Quartret) - that's why I think you used the abbrvn: TQ), if I'm not wrong, though officially these were dedicated to Maharajah Swati Tirunal, since the great Nattuvanar was hired by the Rajah during that time.

I hope I'm not wrong with the history.

Gopalan / Apasruthi: The nATa varnam sung by Srikantan mAma, was in Adi tALam, not aTa. It is a composition of Palakkad Parameshwara Bhagavatar, a member of Swati Tirunal's court, like the Tanjore Quartette.

the aTa tALam is the one composed by Vadivelu. both the varnams suffer the same fate, wrt ST attribution.

incidentally, a darbAr main by one of the men who rules the ragam and i missed it :(
