M.Chandrasekharan's panchadasa ragas.

the great violin maestro sangeetha kalanidhi shri M.Chandrasekharan has released a CD which at the same time is both innovative and exquisite. it is headed panchadasa ragas and consists of rare ragams like balahamsa,rasaali,guntakriya and also light ones like sudh saarang,sunaada vinodhini, misra kamas, sindhubhairavi and heavy ones like naayaki and natabhairavi adding up to 15 ragams.
the CD consists of only ragams along with the mahavidwan commenting on the raga's aspects. the CD is just like a guru teaching his student and his playing of the ragas with limited scope is just amazing.
i just wish everyone has a copy of this CD. i think it is available in murali music musicals, carnatica and kutcheri buzz.

DISCLAIMER: i am not advertising this CD in anyway.please don't get me wrong. this CD is really informative and contains one of MC mama's best renditions of the ragams with his characteristic choicest phrases.it is just with the intention that everybody should have a copy of the CD that has made give names of the shops where the CD can be bought.

Yes Raghul. This is a good CD having 15 raags. Raghul, you being a good student of MC, you have every right to participate like this.

Your fame 'flag' is flying high these days, deservingly. I bless you all the very best for a brighter future.

Mean time, I tried to contact you (you may not know me) during March 2007 end for a concert in Trichy and I was told you were out of station.

i am sorry. this article was intended to just publicize this CD and not to blow my own trumpet. MC mama is my God and i will do anything and everything he asks of me.I can tell this too- I consider his blessings greater than anybody's praise or fame.

What is happening here? A genunine effort is being taken differently. Iincidently my reply sankhyA (number) is panchadasha. The replies also go in 'pancha disha' (various directions).
