S.M.Vilasini's concert-K.Dharmarajaiyer's endowment concerts

finally Gayati vanamali- sadaashiva Brahmmendra-madhuvanti

Vilasini gave an excellent account of Pantuvarali and Kanbhoji alaap.A note worthy aspect of her concert is the dealing the kriti in Kalgada -(derivative of 13 th melam yagapriya) and she deftly handled the sudha nishadam and added color to the kriti.

To commemorate the golden jubili of Independance she aptly chose to present a patriotic song composed by me(Ranmaraj).This is available at :-

she was ably supported by K.P.Nandini on the violin and R Hemant on the Mridangam.If some of the other members have attended the concert please post their views and encourage an up-coming artist.

Aha!!...am listening to Smt.Rajee singing Ramaraj Sir's song. What a clarity!What a clarity!
She would rank first among her peers when it comes to singing Sruti Suddham.

Since I attended the of Selvi.SMV, I had posted my views.
I expect reviews by others who attended the remaining concerts by other artists.
