Dear Aadit,

Please take it as an advice.Whenever you review a concert mention the names of accompanying artistes also & write a few lines about their contribution towards the success of the concert. People like me will be curious to know who have accompanied them. I appreciate that you have beautifully written so much about the concert.

Wishing you all the best,

We are proud of you, Aadit!
If you can write this well at ten, you would make a good reviewer when you grow up--and a good musician too.
Just as you listen to your gurus carefully when you learn, look at the way reviews are written. Trichur Narendran has already given you guidance in starting your review with the names of all the artistes. When you get the help of your parents to type (even if you type it yourself), make sure that you get the names of the songs right (even grown ups make mistakes sometimes, but this way you would be a better reviewer!).
Good luck with your learning CM! We need more and more children learning and appreciating it :)

Yes this same song can be sung in many different ragas... TNS has sung it in hamsadwani, hindolam and even shubapantuvarali before..

Hi aadith,

Thanks for the nice review. I think I missed the concert. Nattakurinchi, dwajawanthi, desh rtp, vasantha renditions would have made me learn more of those ragas.

Thanks again for the heartfelt review with no artificial alangaramas at the same time stressing the occasaion at all times.

My next comment is in general for everyone not just for this review. One small 'nerudal' (in tamil) is calling the artists as 'uncle' or 'mama'. These two artists themselves are very young going by the standard at which people peak in CM. Some people call elder artists as mama... Most people can be addressed with just the name and when someone wants to add an extra respect I think 'Shri' is the best word and is more than sufficient.
