Can someone post the meaning of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar's Andolika varnam 'mahishAsura mardhini'?

The lyrics go thus:

p: mahishAsura mardhini
mahAbalAdri vAsini
ap: mahipati nAlvaDi shrI krishNa
mahA rAjEndra paripAlini
c: shrI harikEsha jAyE gauri

The killer (mardini) of the demon (asura) mahisha
Resident (nivAsini) of mount (adri) mahAbala
Protector (paripAlini) of the great (mahA) king (rAjEndra) of this earth (mahipati) nAlvaDi SrI krishNa
Oh gowrI! The wife (jAyE) of Lord shivA (harikEsha).

harikEsha is also the mudra....
