It was nice concert with a beautiful selection of kriti and neat execution. The svarams for hamsadvani were crisp. The AlApanai for varALi was done extensively. The kriti with neraval and svarams was well rendered. The karnATaka kApi AlApanai was a nice surprise as well. It was done in a scholarly fashion. The main kAmbhOji AlApanai was done well, with many phrases reminding of MLV's renditions. The kriti was rendered with nice round of neraval and svarams. Had to leave during the nIlAmbari.
Accompanists were good and made it a good concert.

I was desperate to be back for this concert but by the time I got home yesterday it was 11! Anyway, it is good to know that she is going strong. Hope to hear more from her this season - she has hardly given any concerts in Chennai this year! Bharath was there enough time for a pallavi when you left?
