payyAda - nAdanAmakriyA
gnAna sammandar tEvAram - sahAnA
krishNa nI bEganE - yamuna kalyANi
tiruppugazh - hamsAnandi

I reached late, as the nATTaikuranji piece was being rendered. And i stayed on till the yamunA kalyANi piece. After which, i had to leave.]

All the pieces were rendered with absolute perfection. There were no detailed AlApanais or neraval or svarams on any of the pieces. Sri Murthy played a short sketch for all the pieces. Smt Sundaram or Sunda Mami as she is refered to, made it a memorable evening with all trademark pieces of her school rendered.

It was a blissful experience to hear the music of such high quality and with accurate precision. Each piece out did the other and i m short of words to describe the whole experience.

Can we get some info about the artists? From the list it seems there is undoubtedly a connection to Brindamma's school (is it through Chitravina Ravikiran, or is there another direct connection?)

Edit: didnt see rbharath's reference to the very same school...sorry about that! But some info on the artists would still be appreciated.

Sunda mami holds the distinction of being Brindamma's very first disciple.

Sunda mami is a disciple of Brindamma. there is also an interesting story of why brinda amma stopped teaching her and she came to mukta amma to learn more, only after brinda amma died...

she also sang some concerts as vocal support to muktha amma in the late 90s...

the story: Sunda mami's father wanted to shift her from brinda's tutelage and put her under one of the disciples of another great vidwan who was known for his music of a contrasting kind, compared to that of Brinda's. Brinda somehow got to know of this and from that day stopped teaching sunda mami. Sunda mami could go to their place anytime as a good friend and well wisher and all but music was never spoken about. Only after the death of Brinda, Sunda mami went to muktha to learn more...
