Is the first word of the pallavi guruvai (the guru) or guruvAi (as the guru)? The remainder of the pallavi suggests the latter to me. :)

Indeed it means Guru vaai - as the Guru - The pallavi beseechs Lord Muruga to appear and bless as the Guru. A RTP in Gowri Manohari is rare and Gurulekha is a favourite of Gayathri ji

gajavadana karuNA sadana in shree ranjani is by pApanAsam sivan .

Thanks for the song list, the pallavi chart too.

Gayatri V does not repeat the same set of songs, it seems. It is nice that she sings kritis which we don't hear often in concerts. She has started the concert with her guru's composition. She wrote on the forum about her wanting to keep her guru's work alive. Not giving template performances is one way of doing it! Great, Gayatri!
