Dear b/s-members, Having accidentally found the address of the ‘mridangam-blog’ furnished by our sister-member, meena, I have inquisitively visited this site. To my utter surprise, among the details of Taladashapranas furnished in it, I have found many of the technical-terms are either mis-spelt or misinterpreted. So, the aspirants may refer to the first chapter of my book, Indian Genius of Talaprastara, which is available in the ‘Karnatic Music Book Centre, Royapettah High Road, Chennai (Ph: 044-28111716 & 28113253), for the correct and authentic spellings and definitions of Taladashapranas. amsharma.

Dear b/s-members, When I brought the in-correct versions of the website, ‘Classical music Mridangam’, to the notice of the owner, Vidwan Sri Sriram Venkataraman, he was kind enough to do the needful in giving the correct versions of the subject of his website. This is for the information of all our brother and sisters. amsharma.

Dear brother-member, vasanthakokilam, I have gone through the entire matter relating to Taladashapranas. I, most unfortunately, found many of the technical-terms are either mis-spelt or misinterpreted and thinking that they will very badly effect our aspirants I, feeling it as my duty to act accordingly, was compelled to record my views in the ‘comments’ of the website. Fortunately, the owner of the website, Vidwan Shri Sriram Venkataraman responded positively and promised me to do the needful in this matter. That is why I again brought this clarification to the notice of all our brothers and sisters of our forum through my next post. amsharma.
