Fingers crossed!!!

I have finally found the clip of AD with that "elusive piece of music"

I have been searching for this tune for like a decade or so... i mean the last part where a woman comes "tagarriiiiii"

Please someone help me... see the clip and tell me!!

It's an AD for ""Maharashtra tourism" and features Ajanta Caves!!

Is it some classical piece? some song? HELP

Thanks
Mike from Nepal

The clip is 46 seconds and all I can hear is a a woman starts with a note [sa] and that's IT wih regards to "classical" music. What are you looking for Mike??

around 30 secs there is a ta-da-ri-na- in ma pa nI sa sA... notes (for 5 seconds) and a guy sings the note pA before that. Wel.. now this is classical music at its bare minimum (or rather a less than flattering attempt at fusion based on classical Indian music).

Again gsoul2soul, what do you exactly want to know?

It does have a haunting quality to it, may be it is the visual that gives that impression. It is sung in the classical idiom. Since it is so short, it is hard to say if it is part of another song or recorded just for the advertisement.

I have heard this before... i mean once in a "Discovery documentary" about "Tigers"... it featured places like "Ranthambore"

And the same music was behind... and also in one of the documentary where they were showing the "dance and art of Kerala" (you know those painted faces... beautiful dance

maybe Kathakali!! see sooo lost here

Sounded like raga Megh of Hindustani (Madhyamavati) but this is too short a clip to categorize this music in any way
