The lyrics of the Pallavi KARUNINCHARA LOKHADAARA
The ragamalika swaras included Hamsadhwani,Nalina Kanthi,Bahudari,Varali,Sahana,Jayanthasri,Behag.
I think he sang 2 more raagams, which I could not identify, for it was sung in a very fast tempo. Can anyone enlighten me?

I had to leave after the RTP.Can anyone complete the list?

I like the way,SS renders varnams.(He always sings the first kalam Sahityam twice.)

The Swarams for the subhapantuvarali was rendered briskly and elicited agood response from the audience.

The N and S for the Saraswati Manohari was really commendable.Thodi alapanai ,Nand S was unique. The Ataana Ra Ra Swaram was full of Bhava

I could clearly see traces of Dhrupad Style of rendering in his Ragam and Taanam in Hamsanandhi,a la sohni.

Mysore Srikanth excelled in the playing of Hamsanandhi and regaled the audience with his swarams for the Ragamalika.

Tumkur Ravishankar and Guruprassanna provided good support to the kutcheri.

On the whole, the audience were treated to an excellent kutcheri which they will remember for a long time to come.

Nadhasurabhi deserves to be congratulated for bringing excellent artists to their annual festival as always.

Is there a SadhaChaleswaram in SubhaPantuvarali? The only Sadhachaleswaram I have heard is in Bhoopalam

Tragic that I had to miss this - I find many of my favourites in the list...as also Sowmya who's been giving me the slip far too often in recent times. Do hope I had make up during the season. Could someone provide the songlist of that concert as well?

Sadhachaleshwaram is indeed in Bhupalam which is not only a janya os of Shubha Pantuvarali but also quite similar in effect. Appam something tells me Sanjay would not be happy with your parallel with Dhrupad/Sohni although I know you mean it as a compliment! Hamsananadhi and Sohi do come closer to each other than any other set of allied ragas in CM/HM that I am aware of

Look forward to TMK's concert today however

nadasudha you are right it has to be only bhoopAlam. Usually it is quite tricky to understand the nuances of (bowli vs revagupti )vs bhoopAlam. The actual MD's bhoopAlam is very close in lakshya feel of subha (siva )pantuvarAli.

Nadhasudha,vijay,rajeshnat and everyone else
Terribly sorry for that glaring error.I never realised it until I saw all your responses. All the while I was murmuring Sri Sathyanarayana of Dishithar in Subhapantuvarali, hence inadvertently I have put it.Thanks for the wakeup call.
Being myself an ardent admirer of the Dhrupad style,I certailly meant it as a compliment.
