Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me out with the lyrics and meaning of :

1. Gananaakaaya Namasthe, Goulai, by Mutthuswami Dikshithar
2. Vara Leela Gana Lola, Shankarabharanam by St. Thyagaraja, Divya Nama Krithi.

I don't seem to find it on Carnatic Wiki or any other site I know of.

Thank you.

Nandy.

Thanks Ramakriya,

When I went through the assorted lyrics, I didn't see it at all. Probably I should have gone through the raagam Shankarabharanam. Thanks so much.

Thanks Lakshman, I have already seen medieval.org also.
This song somehow doesn't appear in any of Mutthuswami Dikshithar's list. I tried getting it from 2 -3 sites.
This song is sung in Goulai by Bombay Jayshree called Ganaaakaaya namasther, shree gauri nandana, namasthe and so it goes.

Hi everyone,

Would like to know if Aadhi, Tisra Ekam, Chatushra Ekam OR Adhi Thaalam (Thisra nadai) really are the thalams for Vara Leela Gaana Lola. It seems to be matching with Chatusra Ekam (12 beats). But I saw Tisra ekam on musicindiaonline.com. Correct me please.
