Abhisek was accompanied by varadarAjan - Violin ,Manoj Shiva - Mridangam and ?? - ghatam
abhisek delivery has a firm grounding in classical sense and there is a lot of depth exhibited by him. Particularly the neraval in malayamArutham and the alApanai of nalinakAnthi was excellent. I had to leave at the end of an emotive Ahiri which was again excellent as I had to travel the next day to bangalore in early hours.
Particularly I like abhisek in comparison with some of his peers as he exhibits consistent excellence in both manOdharmam and sequencing of songs .His swaras can be little more better atleast not yet in line with alApanai or neraval.varadarAjan in violin was excellent in nalinakAnthi. There is just one perennial crib with abhisek , he at times moves too much away from mike slanting his neck and because of that I lose continuity at times.I hope he makes conscious effort not to move too orthogonal to mike .
