Sunday I decided to attend half a concert of padmA seshAdri sisters(rOshini and randhini ) and the next half of Abhisek raghurAman

Accompanied by ?? - Violin , kallidakurichi sivakumAr- Mridangam and ?? - ghatam

The sisters sang the following numbers

-3 .RTP in revati - "mahadeva sambO..vibhO " , pallavi line of Shri TRS - rAgamAliga swarams in kAmbOdhi and hindolam
-2. irakkam varAmal - behAg - GKB
-1. thillAna - chandrajyothi -???
0. mangalam

Heard these sisters 2 years before and it was my 2nd concert of them. The pallavi delivery was excellent with some excellent swara patterns in revati delivered by one sister, the other sister took up the rAgamAliga swarams in hindOlam and kAmbOdhi. The behAg was sung bit too fast , possibly in that speed the irakkAm varAmal pOnatharkku athu oru kAranam(no translations there). tillAna was in chandrajyothi , I donot know the composer but the tillAna was excellent.

Someone else can complete the list.

rajesh the thillana could be Madurai N krishnan's . Do u recall the charnam line?

I thought their names were Randhini and Roshini.

The lines had a chandrajyothi and eesA , that is all I recollect . My gut feel is It must be a contemporary composer .

Sorry, just looked up Madurai N Krishnan book, he has not composed thillana in chandrajyothi.
