Amrita Murali sang a concert at Raga Sudha sometime last week.
I happened to sit for some parts of the concert.

The main khpriyA with naDaci naDaci was good. There was a rAgamAlika viruTTam and a suruTTi piece after that, which were nice as well. Earlier she rendered amba nIlAyadAkshi with a lot of emotion.

Dr.M.A.Bhageerathi a faculty member in thedepartment of Music, Queenmary's college is receiving an award "Ganakala Vipanchi" from the organisation "Vipanchi" on 31st December
