jayati jayati bhArata mAtA = Mother India is victorious, is victorious
budha gItA - (She who is) sung by the wise
nikhilamatA - who has the faith of everyone
vananiratA - who resides in forests
natajana suhitA - who is good to those who bow to her
jayati-jayati jayati

sakala jIva samata - who practises equality to all life
sAdhu sAdhu viditA - who is well understood by the good people
akhila lOka prathitA - who is famous all over the world
paramAnanda samuditA - who rises in great joy

BTW This song was supposed to have been sung by Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer on 15th Aug 1947 and broadcast on the National Network of AIR.
