KandA (murugA), I am the dAsA of kavi kunjarA (his grandfather and guru. So, kOtIsvara Iyer's mudrA is kavi kunjara dAsan).
Running meaning:
I am the dAsA of the composer who employs sapta svarAs in his songs. I am foremost among the devotees who enjoy the following in a song: finesse of sweet words, content, the majesty of it, fine Sruti and the accompanying powerful laya and the graces of a song which has ghanam (depth, quality), nuances (nayam) and the beauty of the given language (dEsikam). Grant me more of your grace and all that is good.

This is a loose translation of the tamizh version by S.Rajam.
