Meena:

Couple of minor corrections:

in the AP of mAtA innum vAdA, it should be pAdAravindam (unsplit), or, if split, pAda aravindam (=pAdAravindam).

In the C of vighna vinAyaka, it should be oru pagai illAda....

In the C of taruNam idaiyyA, it should be ....ulagil illaiyE endan (split), and in the madhyama kAlam sAhityam, it should be ....vinAyakanE mukkani (split)....

aladu => alladu or allaAdu? - meaning "not that" i.e "besides" (pAdAravindam)
murai => muRai
tiruvaruttiran => I would think it starts as tiruvaruT (tiruvarUL will morph to that when combined) but not sure tiruvaruTtiran is right. So i could be wrong
kalpana => could it be kaRpaga? both mean same but kaRpaga is "more formal" and may be more in line with the style.
All "maghan"s => magan
anju kara => is this right, the word anju is quite colloquial and doesnt gell with the style of tamil used. Perhaps aindu kara?
paghai => pagai

methinks-
'attIvinaiyai' (would prefer to type it as aththIvinaiyai)
'illaiyO' instead of 'iLaiyO'
'SaraN ena' instead of 'caraN ena'
thiruvaruL+thiRan= tiruvaruttiRan

tudikkaiyanE-instead of tudikkaiyna-
I am just learning the way the forumites type some of the letters-esp Sanskrit ones

when I typed 'Saran' I meant the 'Sa' as in 'Sankara' and not as in 'Shanmukha'

song one:
vERenda (not any other)
muRaiyIDu (plaint)
unRan (your)
kaLaindeRiya (to uproot)
tiruvaruT tiRan as a compound word is right but tiRan is new to me with aruL, but makes sense.
Sivan uses aladu as well, as iladu in the third song. It is fine, just as in uLadu (inplace of uLLadu)

song two:
anju isn't just colloquial.

song three:
enRun (enRu+un)
tudikaiyanE!

P: taruNam idaiyA dayai puri tudikkaiyA uriya
I checked in the book and it is tudikkaiyA.

Thanks for the other corrections.

Lji.
I meant the one in the caraNam:

munnavanE, yAnai muganE, muruganukkaruLum tudikkaiyanE.

You are right arasi. In the book the word is printed incorrectly in the text but it is tudikkaiyanE in the notation.

I think both can be used? Sudha Ragunathan sings it as tudikkaiyA.

In the pallavi, it is tudikkaiyA
in the charanam, it is tudikkaiyanE

(Rhyming words)
