A couple of minor questions:
Isn't the composer's appeal to the dEvi 'protect (pAhi) me (mAm)?
And shouldn't the anupallavI be 'Please come to/near me (Ehi) and grant me (dEhi) happiness (sukham), Oh alluring (mOhinI) divine/celestial lady (divya) mounted (vAhini) on a lion (simha)! You are the one from whom compassion (dayA) flows (pravAhinI) endlessly'?
