PanditjI's rendition is AWESOME! So serene! Thanks, Meena!
Ramakrishnan,
Here you go: the meaning:
raghuvar tum kO mErI lAj
Oh exemplary among the raghUs (raghuvar - rAm), I surrender everything, including my honor (mErI lAj) to you (tum kO) because I realize your greatness!
sadA sadA mein sharaN tihAri tumhO garIb nivAj
I (mein) will seek refuge at your (tihArI) feet (Saran) always (sadA sadA), because you (tum) are (hO) the protector (nivAj) of the poor (garIb)[1]
patita udhAran virad tihArO sravanan sunI AvAz
I have heard (sravanan sunI = heard with my ears) it said (AvAz - literally sound/words) that it is a vow (virad/virat) of yours (tihArO) to uplift (udhAran) the fallen/sinners (patit)
hUn tO patit purAtan karidE pAr utAr jahAj
I am (hUn tO) certainly a sinner (patit) - so, keep your vow, and make (karidE) my sins go away/a thing of the past (purAtan), and help this ship (jahAj) of my life cross (pAr utAr) the ocean of life.
agha khaNDan dukh bhanjan jan kE yahI tiharO kAj
I have heard/Is it not correct that your (tihArO) only (yahI) work/business (kAj) is the destruction (khaNDan) of sin (agh) and dissipation (bhanjan) of grief (dukh) of the beings (jan kE) that inhabit this world?
tulsidAs par kirpA kIjai bhakti dAn dehu Aj
Today (Aj), I, tulsidAs, request you to shower/show (kIjai) your compassion/mercy (kirpA) on (par) me, and give (dEhu) me the gift (dAn) of devotion (bhaktI)!
[1] in the grant sAhib of the Sikhs, 'garIb-nivA(z)j' is synonymous with 'god', and the two are used interchageably.
