i am not sure whether i have posted the complete song list or one or two pieces are missing

i reached the venue around 7.45 thinking that thani would have started.... but fortunately just when i entered, the curtains went up... probably the felicitation function organised before the concert started and ended late....

as i read somewhere in this forum,, one of our members asked whether tnk sir dipped his bow in honey the night before each of his concerts.... how true... i experienced it fully yesterday....after gajAnanayutham a brief shanmukapriya followed with some excellent prayogas in it... then came the tnk special "thodi" and i feel the raga gets a special majestic flavour to it whenever tnk sir handles it... the thani that followed was very absorbing....

after the main there was string of requests from the rasikas after he played both the thiruppavAis... i thot the concert would end after surutti but mama played vande mataram and thillana instantly obliging the requests.... truely an absorbing concert which to me brought back the goldem music of iyengArval and semmangudi mama and i dont think i am qualified enough to write more about that concert..... please correct any mistakes in the review.......

Thank you Semmu86 for your review. TNK's golden honey-dipped-bow playing does not fade with age!

there was no rtp in that concert..... and unfortunately since it was late when i reached (thanks to office and traffic jams) thinking that the concert would have started,, i dint take my player along with me.... so if any of our forum members recorded that thodi please share it with us...

you are welcome arasi
