Chicago Thyagaraja Uthsavam (CTU) has come up with their list of programs - looks very good and I hope to attend. Anyone else planning to be there?

I don't listen much to Hindustani music (mainly because my exposure was very less), but one Shiva bhajan by the Gundecha brothers is simply awesome ("Shiva Shiva Shiva Shankara Adi deva") - the shruti is perfect, the song is just...perfect, am unable to say more. It usually makes me very meditative. (Gundecha brothers are also scheduled to perform at the Uthsavam).

BTW, this may be slightly off topic (and if so, apologies - I'll delete this part) - but I noticed on the CTU site (http://tyagaraja-chicago.org/) the menu for the 24th of May - it all looks great, except that the menu for children is different from the menu for adults!
(Currently on the snack menu is different but last year I remember the meal menus too were different).
Why should the adults have "mul-thenkuzhal" while the children have tortilla chips, cookies and milk?! Isn't food very much part of the culture we want our children to absorb?
