Dear Friends,

I would like to invite you to another wonderful concert in the New
York City area. The greatly acclaimed Carnatic vidwan O.S.
Thiagarajan will be performing on May 17, 2008 at the Hindu Temple
Community Center in Flushing, NY. We do hope to see you at this
event. It is not to be missed. The tickets are only $10.00 and
children under 5 are are free.

OS Thiagarajan is one of the world's leading Carnatic vocalists and
has performed all over the world with senior accompaniments like Sri
M.S. Gopalakrishnan, Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, Sri Palghat Mani Iyer,
and Sri Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman. O. S. Thiagarajan is perhaps one
of the few male vidwans whose gifted voice is in complete alignment
with the sruti (pitch), and whose oral expression is effortless. He
is an `A' grade Vidwan of the All India Radio and of Doordarshan, and
has been giving a large number of concerts to great acclaim around
the world.


He will be accompanied by B.V. Raghavendra Rao on violin, who is the
disciple of the violin maestro Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri.T.N.Krishnan
as well as receiving advanced training from Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna.
He has traveled the world accompanying international artists as well
as giving solo violin concerts. A.R. Balaskandan will be
accompanying on the mridangam. Balaskandan is a prominent mridangist
in the NYC area. He is the student of Guru Karaikudi R. Mani of
Chennai, India, and has accompanied leading artists in the US, UK and
India.

You might consider rephrasing that sentence.... :)

Or, if they make a noise, the parents have to pay (assuming, they didn't get them free in the first place :)
