I remember attending a concert consisting exclusively of Dasa krithis by Ms. Kalpana Venkat a few years ago.

Thanks for the responses. VMS had had concerts on Dasara krithis in the past using stalwarts such as Shri Sundar and Smt Kalpana. The proposed program is a small house concert and we are trying to locate a fresh face who can sing for couple of hours. In other words - not a full fledged professional type performance. Good chance for some one to venture out in front of a small audience (25 to 30). The requirements are to sing Dasara hadugalu and should not be heavy duty classical - a bit like Devaranaama rendition or Sugama Sangeeth - that type of combination. Even if I get couple of teenagers/youngsters - that could be well worth it - both for the host and for the performer(s).

They are in canton. They are the founders of International Academy of Indian Music. They are very good performers and teachers.

Shivakumar and Kasthuri are disciples of Shri B.Rajam Iyer and Neyveli Shri.R.Santhanagopalan. [ my sishyas too ] Shivakumar is basically from Manglore and Kasthuri is from Chennai.
