Lji - Thanks - lovely composition!

The phrase 'a heart (hridaya) filled with compassion (sadaya) like that (sama) of a cloud (jalada) filled with water (sajala)' - is awesome - almost makes me wonder if Sri OVK is punning on 'Iram' (wetness) and 'Iram' (compassion).

Shankar - musically this song is beautiful also. DKJ Sir used to render it with great passion. I love the phrase 'rAsa rasa rasana' - such wonderful alliteration.

can some one please explain the meaning of the phrase -

Krishnaa,

I think it means 'one who wears (dhara) a crown (makuTa) of peacock feathers (mAyUra means 'coming from or belonging to a mayUra' - peacock) atop his charming (lalita) hair (cikura)'
