It was a good concert, some Krithis not often heard in the concert circuit these days. The Purnachandrika Swarams were well rendered. Reethigowlai was sung leisurely. An interesting round of Swarams was rendered in different speeds at Thamasamu Seyakave. The Yadukulakambhoji Krithi was announced as a composition of Talapakkam Chinnayya. The main Bhairavi was presented in detail with an Alapanai of about 12 min. Long time since I heard Raksha Bettare live in a concert. The Tani was particularly good. The violinist's responses were to the point. Post main, the Kanada was soothing.
Overall, a nice concert with an interesting list.

yes about the neraval.
on the whole it was a lively entertaining concert with quick paced songs. The swaram in purnachandrika was good.
Some other rarely heard song in Ritigowli would have made the concert more interesting.
There are a lot of songs that lie hidden as buried treasures. Some songs circulate in cycles. Some have seasonal popularity. Some songs, even though very good to hear, suddenly fall into disuse for no predictable reason. They ought to be unearthed and brought back to activity by every singer. Whoever does it ought to be appreciated.
Cheers
