Request anyone to please provide me with or inform me of the site where i can find the audio of Lalgudi ji's Charukeshi Varnam - Innum yen manam - complete rendering as in the case of dance programs and not in Carnatic vocal concerts.

The varnam has some really moving lyrics in the charanam which i need to learn.

I think Harish is looking for a dance rendition of this padavarNam - he specifically mentions he doesn't want renditions from CM concerts! Santanam's version is from a CM concert!

You are correct - I had asked someone for a dance version and they emailed me this link - I had not verified if it had the whole rendition - mea culpa!

This is a beautiful varnam. There is a recent CD by the late R Visweswaran where he has sung this varnam. The varnam was composed by Lalgudi Jayaraman on the request of Chitra Visweswaran.

The double CD is called Antardhwani (song of the soul) and is available from the Chidambaram Academy of Performing Arts, Alwarpet, Chennai-18

CD 1 features 6 items vocally rendered by Sri Visweswaran and CD 2 features him playing raga Bhageshri on Santoor.
The vocal rendition of the Charukesi varnam is excellent with so much bhavam.

Proceeds from the CD sales go to RASA, cenre for the differently abled.
