Hi did anybody attend the captioned performance at the Music Academy yesterday? The concept of relationships sought to be highlighted thru music and the special item was the on stage relationships between the performers that was sought to be showcased thru an unconventional pallavi in ragam thodi I would like to welcome your views on this novel effort. The performance was sponsored by HSBC and Kingfisher Airlines and this theme was evolved by Music Today and worked upon by T.M.Krishna...... Bye Ragjay

I attended it. Was an off beat effort. But then, TMK himself announced at the beginning that it would not be a regular 'kutcheri.' Was good but certain points like percussion for Alapanai and violin starting off the songs, instead of vocal did not appeal too much to me.
