The version available with me is slightly different. But your version fits in well.

rAmanAmavemba rasavuLLa nIrige tAre bindigeya

Meaning: O my sister(akka) bring the pot(bindige=small pot either of metal or of mud), will go(hOguve) to (fetch) water(nIrige), do bring the pot.
A: if the pot breaks, it only costs a paise(kAsu – the smallest portion of a rupee), do bring the pot.
C1:bring the pot for (fetching) water which has the rasa(taste) called rAmanAma; bring the pot so that I can spend some private time (ekAnta) with attractive girls.
C2:bring the pot for (fetching) water which has the quality(guna) called govinda; bring the pot for (fetching) water which has many(aVava) qualities of elixir (amrtava)
C3:bring the pot – I will go to the abode(ghatta) of bindumAdhava; I will perform abhisheka of purandaravithala – bring the pot.
(Note: Perhaps the song refers to the pot as the human body)
This line in your version is different.
AvAva pariyali amrtada pAnake tArE bindigeyA = bring the pot(tAre bindegeya) for drinking the elixir(amtada panakke) in many ways(AvAva pariyalli)

murthymg,
I have also learnt the same version as yours-but in raaga Tilang.
Ireally like this song.
There is one moresong of Purandaradasa-
Ikkalaarada kai yenjelo chikka makkaLu aLuthaarE hOgO dAsayya-
wherein he describes about the human tendency for avoiding charity-what all flimsy excusess we come up with for not doing charity.
This song was taught to us in chaturasra and tisra gathi alternating-
very beautiful song.
This may not be relevant here but still wanted to write because I really like the meaning of the Purandaradasa songs.
I am not a kannadigaa, hence I might have made some mistakes.
Kindly correct them
Thanks
