A lovely, melodious flute recital was relayed on Saturday Today Morning(0900 - 1000hrs) on South Zone Door Darshan Kendras( Podhigai/Chandana/Sapthagiri/ DD Malayalam).
The concert was by V Nagaraju(flute)-D Sathyanarayana Rao(violin)-K Srinivasa Rao(Mridangam) alongwith Two more percussions - Kanjira & Morching (Artists ??)

1. Raghunayaka(T)-Hamsadhwani(Brisk S)

2. Pavanamura-Manirangu- Composer ?

3. Gnanamu Sagarada(T)-Purvi Kalyani( R,S)

4. Pakkala Nilabadi(T)-Kharaharapriya( R, N @Thanugonchi, Detailed S- Thani Avarthanam)
Kharaharapriya and flute have an unique equation. It's really very melodious to listen to Kharaharapriya on the flute. Some ragas have to be listened on the flute. Kambodhi also is a raga to be listened on the flute.
The artist V Nagaraju did play all the popular sangathis of Kharaharapriya and followed it up with the famous "Pakkala Nilabadi". The whole concert was really enjoyable. All the team members showed their talent and made the concert enjoyable.

rs: I do know the difference between Gnanamu & gnyAnamo - I have just repeated what was displayed on the TV. Also I have less patience in writing the exact English Pronunciation as U have done. Every rasika is aware of this famous song popularised by SSI. A mere (wrong) key word is sufficient to bring rasika's memory of this great song. Thanks for the correction. I do keep committing these mistakes, so that you can take over & put the master hand & make it perfect.
