Sangita Kalanidhi Vellore Ramabhadran sir.

Really great concert. He started off with his Vandhana Dharini varnam.. bhooloka naradha.. and said he would sing oudava raga scales..
and he sang gambhira nattai - a puranda dasa krithi.. and then sang a beautiful nagaswaravali.. Shripate.. and then (Atmo)dayaravichandrika - shri guruguha murte.. and then a very very classy mohanam. bhavanuta..
ended with a shloka in madyamavathi.. (2 mins of glorious madhyamavathi)
(did i miss a song??)

A great concert.. with excellent raga sketches and what swarams! lilting beauty.. (both sriram and prof)..

happy to have made it.

Ragam vandhana Dharini is basically Suddha Saveri with prathi madhyamam. Is that correct?
