A very talented kid! Has AIR allowed him to play keyboard - I know they had banned the harmonium many years ago.

He is under Kum. A. Kanyakumari. However he is unable to attend regular classes and so tries at home whenever possible. As his grandfather my father in law, is very specific that we try to nurture his talent on violin also. So we applied to AIR for children's programme and this is the result of the same. All credits to his grand father be it his Keyboard or violin.

Reg Keyboard in AIR, yes it is not allowedas a lead instrument. Hope a day will come when Sathya gives a concert in AIR. Well thats one of our dreams right now!

Key board playing Satya has just started learning to play the violin and he sounds sweet on the 'not so easy to learn' violin. His dedication in learning comes through. Compliments to the family for the encouragement and loving guidance (there is no pushing, I am sure!).

Not at all. It is left to him to decide on what instrument or vocal for that matter he wants to express his music thoughts. That too as long as he has interest. H/ever with what he has been doing we hope he wiil continue to give his best.

Palladam Venkataramana Rao has given a National Program on AIR (see http://www.sangeethamshare.org/tvg/UPLO ... HARMONIUM/). Hence keyboard should not be an issue I think.
