cienu, just remove the periods at the end of url, and you can get to the webpages:
http://www.sgbstrust.org/ASP/Art.htm
http://www.sgbstrust.org/index.html

(this is a common mistake that several people seem to make, leaving the peirod/full-stop at the end of the url in a sentence)

We seems to be saying good-bye to the famous Odukathur Mutt auditorium. The February Fest and the Aug Gokulashtami series are now being shifted to their Unnati Auditorium, very unlikely that we have regular concerts at this venue. This venue can give nostalgic memories to many here.

oh yeah, the odakathur mutt was my favourite hall in bangalore.. u get to sit down and right in front of the artistes. The hall was also excellent and traditional..

It will be very convenient for old people like me , if the kutcheris start exactly at6m and end at 9pm, cutting short the unnecessary lengthy speeches,, as it is very difficult to get public transport after 9pm. gobilalitha

Transport : There is a plan to arrange transport to the new Unnati Centre , from Odukathur Mutt, during the festival. Sri Ramesh of SGBS made an announcement to this effect. I have no further details. I guess, they will update this in their website.

Food : There is also a plan to arrange food after the concert at the hall. I guess, you will have to inform them earlier and take coupons/tickets. He says, people need not leave early worrying about reaching home and cooking, thus making the concert less enjoyable.

Public transportation will be an issue from this venue. You will have to reach the Old Madras Road or the Outer ring road.

Braindrain - that's nice to hear... food for ear and tummy!!!

They also should have kid's play area or baby sitters....we can listen to the concert worry free(;- Are organizers listening... or am i asking too much?

Good arrangements. Yet, for those who need transportation FROM Odukkattur Mutt to their homes, a very late night can pose a problem.
Providing food in the venue is a good idea but won't that further delay the departure of the rasikAs? Unless, they plan on opening the food counter during the speeches--you can still hear them in the lobby! Of course, NOT during the tani!

On holidays and weekends, i prefer the concert start at 4pm and end at 8pm... We can have 4 hours concert too!! May be, this is a suggestion for rasikas.org concerts...

Hari, My neighbourhood concert ( at the Indian Heritge Academy , Koramangala ) starts at 4:15 and ends by 7:15pm. I think Banashankari Sri Rama Lalita Kala Mandira starts their concert at 5:00 pm.

But this is a good idea. On the other hand , week day concerts can be pushed to 6:45 or 7:00 :-)

Dear Mr. ayilur,

Great to receive programme list. Great evenings ahead. It would have been nice if it were to be at Ulsoor. Unnati hall happens to be very far for people from Malleshwaram.

Why Aruna Sairam's concert is missing? It is quite long that her concert is not heard in Bangalore.

Any way waiting for August 9th.
