Lyrics for Pooja Chethamurare, Sahana

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with the lyrics of Pooja Chethamurare sung in Sahana, thalam ? (for Varalakshmi nomb).

The song is sung here by Smt. Vedavalli, but I do not know Telugu, so it'll be great if anybody can help me.

A very beautiful composition. A translation is in order.

BTW, does kharjura phalamu refer to cashews or dates? dADima refers to the Dhattura, right?

kharjUra phalam is dates. daDim is something which is known as anAr in hindi, i don't know the english word for that fruit...

Eka thalam is suitable for this song than Adhi thalam because it doesn't fit correctly for the Anupallavi. Please correct me know if I am wrong.
She sings the word as nimmAdhipadhalumulu (in Charanam 1) and not nimmAdhipalumulu from what I hear. Again correct me if I am wrong.

Nandy Sir: I got the song lyrics from the booklet supplied along with the album, and since I'm not the expert on telugu maybe posters like shishya could better explain the meaning. With regard to the tALa, you may be correct.

When I put the term in the Telugu dictionary(http://dsal.uchicago.edu/dictionaries/gwynn/), the term, "nimma" resulted an entry for lime.
