I need not tel aboput the wonderful way Priya sisters render the annamayya keerthanams.They are at their best.The concert was a pleasing one to both the ones who have no knowledge of Carnatic and the ones who are into Carnatic.The slow and wonderful 'melukolupu' song in bowli was plaesing.Later they went on for a composition on Annamacharya in Tilang.Then came the wonderful Shanmukhapriya with swarakalpana at "Paala jalanidhi lona"They went for a pleasing Reethigowla for a superb composition notable for its wonderful sahitya bhavams.Then came a really splendid composition in Bindumalini describing goddess Alkamelumanga and advising her to react to Lord's Deeds.Then came the wonderful Vasantha ragam composition .The Hamsanandi was spellbound.I feel they sing Hamsanandi in the best way.LAter came one more composition on Goddess Alamelumanagamma in Bhairavi.It was a too too too good rendition.The Saramathi composition had a soul stirring sahityam saying that Lord Venkateswara's name is the boat for the person who is struck up in the Bhavasagaram.The main piece was in Shankarabharanam.It was based on Sringara Rasam.The thaniavarthanam was short which dissappointed the audience.Skanda Subhramanium was at his best again.
THe post main items were many and were really pleasing.There were many songs based on Vairagyam like the Ahirbhairav composition which says how many days should one pose this Deham.The Viruththam in various ragams was highly pleasing.Vaasanthi was really great.The ragas were depicting pathos.the wonderful Sarvantha rathmudavu which was another master piece was sung at the end.The lullaby Jo Achyuthananda in Navroj and MArali Marali in Brindavani were the last songs
The Sisters gave a wonderful performance and the entire hall echoed with Govinda nama smaranam,No one got up at any point and the completely packed Ravindra Bharathi showed the love rasikas of hyderabad had for Annamayya.It was a real wonderful kutcheri...Asa fan of Priya sisters i myslef thoroughly enjoyed the concert,Please forgive me for my mistakes in this post

How long did this concert go on for? Because twenty items is a lot of them! Though I don't know the "average length" of an Annamayya krti...

some of them were tuned by Sri Vedavyaas Anandabhattar....like the sindhubhairavi piece,the one in durbaari kanada,saramathi,revathy etc...
were as to my knowledge..Ammamma in Bhairavi is tuned by Sri G Balakrishna Prasad...
And some are by Sri Nedunuri Krishnamoorthy gaaru and Sripada Pinakapani gaaru...

Thanks for the review, revanthv552! The Priya Sisters simply EXCEL in rendering Annamayya's compositions! I can't think of any other vocalist who could paid such a soulful tribute to Annamayya! I enjoy listening to ALL of his compositions being sung by the Priya Sisters, but my favorites are Jo Achyutananda, Anurenu Paripoorna, Jadapu Chanavula, and Chaaladha Harinama. Ekkadi Maanusha Janmam in Bowli is another favorite of mine, although the Priya Sisters didn't sing that song.

yeah....eveni agree with you...
actually they sung many songs on requests..ekkadi manusha is really a wonderful composition..
but however....they did nt sing that,,,as u said...
but i was really happy with their sarvantharAthmudavu,mariyendhu gathilEdhu.meruguchekkula alamelumanga..and ammamma in bhairavi...
they are simply superb.....
