In this review (http://www.hindu.com/fr/2008/08/22/stor ... 710300.htm) I came across 2 songs that sounded very interesting...can you provide any details? Of course, lyrics would be awesome!
The songs included sweet padams such as ‘Thigattum Varai Vennai Thirudi Thindra Kannan’ and ‘Pollaadha Gopigalammaa’ besides the usual compositions ‘Swagatham Krishna’ and ‘Enna Thavam Seidhanai.’

I remember hearing in a folksy tune, resembling nandavanattil Or ANDi:
pollAta gOpimArammA
avargaL illAta vArtai tanai SollurArammA

iruTTinil uri eTTumO?
inda tirUUTup piraTTu ellAm sarik kaTTumO?--is all I remember. No idea about author. Seen a child dance to it in an elementary school program when I was in high school :)
