There is a very nice Sruti column where different musicians who have been awarded stamps in their honour by the Postal Department, are profiled. This month Pt. Omkarnath Thakur was the subject of the column. As far as I can tell, the only Carnatic music figures in this list are [in no particular order]:
Annamacharya, Purandaradasa, Tyagaraja, Muthusvami Dikshitar, Syama Sastri, Dvaram V. Naidu, Svati Tirunal, Ariyakudi, MS Subbulakshmi, Musiri.
Am I missing anyone?
As an aside, I recently acquired the Tyagaraja, Dikshitar and Syama Sastri stamps and First Day Covers. They are really beautiful, especially the covers. The Tyagaraja one has an etching of his samadhi, Dikshitar's has an etching of the maNTapam over his birth place and the SS one has a painting of three tamburas together. Very nicely done with an appreciation for the contributions of these great composers.

Aha! Nice - thanks shankarabharanam
Not to nitpick, but that's a special cover and there is no stamp yet. A special cover has been released on Sri Pazhani Subrahmanya Pillai also recently.
