Durga-Kosha/S.K. Ramachandra Rao. Reprint. First Published in Bangalore, 1997. Delhi, Sri Satguru, 2008, x, 328 p., ISBN 81-7030-886-0.

Contents: 1. Durga in art and legend. 2. Ritualistic worship of Durga. 3. The Kavachas and stotras. 4. Sahasra-Nama. 5. Saran-Navaratri-Durgotsava.

"Durga Kosha is intended to be a comprehensive work on the Goddess Durga: mythology relating to Durga which is found in our Agama texts and iconographic manual and the worship details and rituals contained in our Kalpas and Puja-Patalas. Durga is a popular deity in our country, and her puja is extensive as well as elaborate. There are numerous shrines to this Goddess, and collective as well as household worship of Durga is prevalent. An account of the culture-elements in iconography and worship would therefore be welcome not only to the students on Indology but also to the general public

Thanks a lot Arasi and Ravi. I truly value your words of encouragement.

Avnipriya - now it makes sense - it is "ananya"

sarvajanAntarAntara-cidaMshA - (you are) realised (siddha)only as the spark(amsha) of conciousness(cid) inside of the inside(antara-antara) of all people(sarva jana), nothing else(ananya)

Just one doubt
Is this when Goddess Durga save Yogamaya in form of Yashoda's baby from Kansa ?

Yogamaya is another name of Durga. She was born as Yasoda's daughter and warned Kamsa before disappearning.
