Today's Award function and Concert of Sriranjani Postponed

In view of the cyclone and incessant rains, today's (28th Nov 2008) award function of Sriranjani involving the presentation of award to Maestro Umayalpuram Shri. K. Sivaraman and the concert (yours truly, MAS, UKS sir and BSP) at Narada Gana Sabha main hall stand POSTPONED to a later date (to be announced).

I request the rasika community to spread the word to as many local rasikas as possible, so that they don't turn up at the venue and get disappointed. My sincere thanks in advance for this and sorry for the inconvenience.

Very considerate of you to announce this--saving several rasikAs the trouble of stirring out of their homes for nothing.

Arasi, are you already in chennai? alternating between Bangaloreand Chennai? If you are in BANGALORE, I would very much like to meet you gobilalitha
