The organisers who have always attracted audiences with their unique concepts and style of presentation (remember ISAI VELVI 2008 - a concert competition of 40 minutes slots) gave some tips on this festival's speciality too.
This is a festival wholly dedicated to promoting brilliance in classical music, budding stars in fine arts and other cultural talents. The highlights are,
"¢ Six brilliant musicians who won the best performer title in the ISAI VELVI 2008 concert competition conducted by us in August this year are given the evening slot concert in the festival which takes place in the December music season in Chennai. We also give cash award of rupees 3000, 2000 and 1000 for the first three winners.
"¢ Sloka competition in two separate categories for children under 8 years of age to encourage the parents and teachers who care for our culture and tradition and to motivate the kids who adhere to the invaluable system innocently.
"¢ Music competition for children under 12, to motivate them to pursue the rare talent seriously and consciously.
"¢ Drawing competition with free imaginary subject for children under 12, to allow the children to give vent to their boundless imagination!
"¢ All the above competitions have been overwhelmingly responded for registration and great performances are anticipated!! We have compliments and certificates for all kids!
"¢ The first of its kind competition for young mothers "Mothers steer Society"
