The concert was an amazing one. For a concert following a meeting, it started right on time and all the pieces were rendered very well. The AlApanais of kAmbhOji and srI rAgam were awesome. The kalyANi was good and the tAnam was much more elaborate than the kriti. The svarams were all beautifuly as well. The accompanists were good as well.

The tani was entirely based on the pallavi's rhythmic movement, and was full of sowkhyam and very enjoyable. Indeed, the tani itself was the pallavi followed by neravals (subtle variations over that pattern) and svarams (korvais ending in the pallavi's pattern).
