The kriti in darbAr was 'inimElAyinum undan' set to misra cApu, a composition of Ramaswami Sivan. There were svarams in kalyANi and also an AlApanai in darbAr. The slOkam 'gandarvAmara citta cAraNa vatu' was rendered in tODi before the svarajati.
The gauLipantu piece is indeed that of Thyagaraja. yAro vandennai is a composition of Suddhananda Bharati. The bhajan is my a sikh saint and indeed in bEhAg. The Thiruppugazh was in danyAsi. After the srI rAgam mangaLa kriti, the slOkam which began as 'kalyANIm' in praise of Goddess Kamalamba was rendered in srI rAgam followed by 'svastiprajAya'.
It was an awesome concert. I am short of superlatives to express. The kIravANi is one which one can never forget for a life time. the tODi svarajati was just tooo good. indeed a very special and thoroughly heart-filling emotionally satisfying concert.

So, I missed you rbharath. Anyother concert where I can get a glimpse of you !!!!
Thanks for the corrections. Iam updating my original post.. Actually when I was googling "yaaro" I got MC Vasanthakokilam singing "yaro" that was written as Subramanya Bharathi. May be that is another "yaaro" !!!!!!

Sri Vijay Siva said Suddananda Bharathi. Or was it Subramaniya Bharathi that he said and i heard it as Suddananda Bharathi.
I was sitting in the floor as well. right near the entrance. i walked in only during the kalyANi.
Sitting in close quarters and listening, does have its own charm and makes one feel rather more involved

it seems to be one of those secular compositions...Jigyaasa wrote: as for the yArO kriti, I didn't quite get which deity it was dedicated to...

http://www.karnatik.com/c1694.shtml gives the lyrics
